Eco-Advocate, Researcher & Sustainability Consultant

A lifelong resident of Santa Cruz, California, Christofer Barker grew up surrounded by the majestic Coastal Redwoods, shaping his deep-rooted passion for the environment. With a background in Environmental Landscaping, he evolved into an Eco-Advocate, Ecologist, and Co-founder of EcoLogicProject (ELP).

Chris is driven by ELP’s mission to accurately forecast climate change effects and develop real-world solutions. His commitment to environmental sustainability has led to a dynamic collaboration with Dr. Patricia Eichler-Barker, focusing on land-ocean-atmosphere interactions and climate mechanisms. As a researcher, co-author, and editor, he contributes to numerous scientific publications and provides technical expertise to students, clients, and the public.

Through his consultancy, Chris offers innovative, sustainable, and non-toxic eco-stewardship solutions that are practical, replicable, and impactful. His advocacy extends beyond environmental work—previously, he provided no-cost consultancy for at-risk seniors on Medicare and helped raise millions nationally for underfunded school programs.

Chris remains dedicated to bridging climate science with actionable ecosystem stewardship, ensuring a sustainable future for all.
